This is 13-inch Gurkha WW Machete Khukuri (also called “kukri” or “khukri”). Basically carried in a leather case, it has a walnut wooden grip and comes with two small knives. This unpolished 13-inch (33.02cm) blade is made of highly graded carbon steel (mostly used in railway tracks, Car & Jeep leaf spring). The handle is a 6-inch long full tang made from rosewood. The scabbard is made of pinewood covered in water buffalo leather.
Not everyone needs a machete Khukuri, but if you do, you need it for a reason. Designed for utility, the Gurkha WW Machete Khukuri is based on a traditional tool from the Homeland of the Gurkhas. This 13-inch Gurkha WW Machete Khukuri comes with some customization with subtle updates for modern-day use that includes an ergonomic handle shape with a hefty full tang construction to stand up to repeated heavy use. Its distinctive shape—pointed tip, wide midsection, narrow neck near the handle—comes from centuries of use as a multi-purpose tool that could double as weapon for self defense. The Khukuri knife played a very significant role in creating the history of the Gurkhas. This khukuri is also a great to use for any kind of heavy or light duty. The water poured temper on the blade makes it very strong. The handle is very stronger than older World War II khukuris.
